Treatments consist of a consultation followed by acupuncture. A typical treatment can vary from 10-30 needle insertions. We use only stainless steel, single-use, sterilized needles.
In contrast to other styles of Acupuncture, we rarely leave needles in the body. In almost every case the needles are inserted and removed in a smooth and even motion. Also in this style of Acupuncture, the Acupuncturist never leaves the room with needles in the patient. The practitioner stays with the patient through their entire treatment.
Treatments are based on the individual needs of the patient, so the length of a treatment can vary. The focus is on what is needed for the best care of the patient. For this reason treatments vary between 30 - 90 minutes. |
